There's a lot of big X-MEN news this week, and we're here to x-plore all of it. First up, a discussion of the recently announced new X-Men comic titles that will make up the line's 2017 relaunch, as part of Marvel's "Resurrxion" event. What do these new titles suggest about the future of X-Men comics, and why should fans of the '90s be excited about the two new core titles?
Next, we take a look at both the good and the bad regarding the X-MEN movie universe, as this past week gave us both a new trailer for LOGAN, as well as some distressing news about director Tim Miller leaving DEADPOOL 2. We pick apart the LOGAN trailer, and share how it affects our current feelings about the movie, and then try to make some damn sense of this Miller situation, and what it might mean for the Deadpool franchise moving forward (Hint: it won't involve Quentin Tarantino). Remember X-MEN: APOCALYPSE? You might not, but the fast food chain White Castle certainly does. In a bit of odd timing, they just recently unveiled their special "X-Menu," in honor of the film's home video and digital release. Throwing all concerns for our safety aside, on this episode we do a live taste test of all four (well, three and a half) items from the special menu. So prepare to pray for your fearless hosts as they try the Ghost Pepper Cheese Slider, the X-Treme Ghost Pepper Cheese Slider, the Apocalyptic Waffle Slider, and Mutant Loaded Fries. Warning: If the sounds of people eating are not your bag, this might be as scary for you to listen to as it was for us to actually attempt.
